IFB wants to hear from you

BY RICHARD GUEBERT JR.

We need your help.

As farming and agriculture continue to evolve, we do our best work when we hear directly from you about your needs, your challenges, and the kinds of business environment that makes you most successful. With a little information from you, we believe we can better serve you.

How? With basic information about your farm operation or land ownership, we can make sure you are getting the information you need based on your farm, the land your own, the crops you grow or the livestock you raise. It only takes about five minutes to complete a brief survey on your farming interest.

Why is this important? There are many ways we can provide information targeted to your needs. Here are a few examples:

  • In 2020, COVID relief was available to pork and beef producers. We provided information to members we knew were livestock producers.
  • As IFB prepares for the 2023 Farm Bill, providing elected officials data on how many members raise certain crops or livestock enhances our advocacy effort.
  • IFB’s Farm Gate program prepares livestock operations with environmental compliance support.
  • Providing property rights information to farmland owners.
  • Informing members impacted by wind, solar or pipeline projects of upcoming county Farm Bureau events.

These are a few examples of the many ways we tailor our programs and communication to serve your needs.

Using data is increasingly important to be productive on our farms. The same is true for how Farm Bureau can better serve your needs.

Please click this link and take five minutes to complete the survey by Feb. 28. This survey contains questions relating to both you and your operation’s characteristics.

Those who complete the survey will be eligible to win one of 10 $250 gift cards.
