From the President:
The submittals advanced by the committee last week along with the submittals advanced by the committee in August will be debated for final consideration by voting delegates at Annual Meeting in Chicago. Delegates may also debate any submittals advanced during Open Session Resolutions on Saturday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in the Red Lacquer Room, or any submittals that arise from the floor during delegate session.
As a reminder: Submittals that were not advanced by the Resolutions Committee during its summer or fall meetings can only be reintroduced during Delegate Session at Annual Meeting.
Ultimately, all the resolutions approved by the delegates at Annual Meeting will become IFB’s policy positions included in our policy book. Those positions then direct IFB’s legislative priorities and programming, and guide the IFB Board of Directors in its decision making for the organization.
