FarmWeek celebrated 50 years of serving Illinois farmer members. Since 1974, FarmWeek has published nearly 2,500 issues of timely, in-depth, high-quality agricultural journalism for IFB members. The Illinois General Assembly declared June 10, 2024, FarmWeek Appreciation Day in the state.

The IAA Foundation’s 28th annual golf outing for Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom raised $41,000 to support ag awareness, knowledge and appreciation among Illinois students.

IFB joined other state commodity groups in a letter to legislators expressing concern about the financial strain imposed on Illinois farmers by agricultural tariffs and the widening trade gap. IFB President Brian Duncan emphasized the importance of AFBF communicating with U.S. administrations about the negative impacts of tariffs.
- IFB hosted a member appreciation event at the Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR event, with more than 400 members enjoying lunch, fellowship and exclusive behind-the-scenes pit interactions.
