Notice of Annual Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the annual meeting of the members of the Illinois Agricultural Association (the “Association”) will be held in the Palmer House Hotel, 17 East Monroe Street, Chicago, Illinois, 60603, on Saturday, December 7, Sunday, December 8, Monday, December 9, and Tuesday, December 10, 2024, with the official meeting of voting delegates convening at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, for the following purposes:
To receive, consider and, if approved, ratify and confirm the reports of the officers and the acts and proceedings of the Board of Directors and officers in furtherance of the matters therein set forth since the last annual meeting of the Association.
To elect nine (9) members of the Board of Directors to serve for a term of two years.
To consider and act upon such proposed amendments to the Articles of Incorporation or to the Bylaws of the Illinois Agricultural Association and upon such policy resolutions as may be properly submitted.
For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the meeting.
The Association reserves to the right, upon proper notice and subject to applicable law, to modify the time, date, location and/or manner for conducting the annual meeting in response to governmental requirements and restrictions, including hosting the meeting via virtual technologies or audio/video conferencing.
