From the President:

See below for a list of ways IFB has provided value to our members in June. I encourage you to use this as a tool to help recruit and retain members.

  • Illinois Farm Bureau issued an action request for members to contact the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and ask it to reconsider its electric vehicle rule. The action request will remain active through Wednesday.
  • IFB also raised concerns in comments to the EPA about the agency’s water regulations involving PFAS.
  • Six farmers from Illinois joined more than 150 others from around the country in the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Advocacy Fly-In in Washington, D.C., meeting with members of Illinois’ congressional delegation on top ag issues.
  • The IAA Foundation’s annual Golf Outing raised $42,000 for ag literacy efforts through Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom.
  • The Foundation also mailed checks totaling $144,501 to colleges and universities in support of 75 students for the 2023-24 school year.
