Young Leader Conference

The Illinois Farm Bureau® Young Leader Conference brings together young people from across Illinois who share an interest in agriculture and a desire to grow personally and professionally.

Designed for Illinois Farm Bureau members ages 18–35, the conference is an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, gain new perspectives and connect with people who understand the opportunities and challenges facing agriculture. Whether you farm full time, work in agribusiness, are beginning your career, or are still figuring out where you fit in the industry, there is a place for you here.

You don't need to hold a leadership position or already be deeply involved in Farm Bureau to attend. Come ready to learn, meet people and discover opportunities that can help you take your next step.

Who should attend?

If you're 18–35, an Illinois Farm Bureau member and interested in agriculture, Young Leader Conference is for you.

You might be a farmer or beginning farmer. You might work in agribusiness, education, communications, finance or another agricultural field. You might be a college student preparing for your career or someone who simply wants to become more connected to agriculture and Farm Bureau.

You don't have to consider yourself a "Young Leader" before you arrive. The conference is an opportunity to discover what being one can mean for you.
