The Edwards County Farm Bureau kicked off its 100th year with an annual meeting and celebration recently. More than 200 members and guests joined the organization for a trip down memory lane with a celebration to highlight the past and present of the organization, while making a path for the future.

The event featured a memory wall, toast, picture and T-shirt displays, recognition of past and present volunteers, trivia and other activities.

Attendees received a copy of the newly published Edwards County Farm Bureau history book. As part of this celebration, all living county presidents were honored, with two unable to make it – Theron Summers, 1946-1951, and Jim Hoeszle, 1999-2003.

It was truly a night of memories and celebration.
